- Staff will assist faculty in preparation to use Perception.

Interesting GED Facts
- More than 86,000 adults take the GED tests each year.
- Those who obtain scores high enough to earn a GED diploma outperform at least one-third of today’s high school seniors.
- GED graduates include: Bill Cosby, Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas and Delaware’s Lieutenant Governor Ruth Ann Minner.
- More than 95% of employers in the U.S. consider GED graduates the same as traditional high school graduates in regard to hiring, salary, and opportunity and advancement.
Advanced Standing
Testing Schedule
- Advanced standing is the granting of credit for knowledge and skills which are related to a curriculum of the District, but which have not been attained through the customary experiences of a particular curriculum.
- Advanced standing may be granted by exam, occupational experience or transfer of credit.
- A student may attempt advanced standing by examination or occupational experience only once for each course.
