Withdrawal Policy

It is a student's responsibility to complete an add/drop request form with student services or withdraw via self-service on the Web if they are no longer interested in the course(s) they registered for. Students are not automatically withdrawn from a course if they do not pay or do not attend. Students are responsible for all tuition and fees unless a withdrawal is completed within the institutional refund period.

Registration Fall 2009

Term dates:

Begin: August 3, 2009

End: December 31, 2009

*Any courses that start during the dates noted above belong to the semester designated.

Registration Spring 2010

Term dates:

Begin: January 4, 2010

End: May 24, 2010

Spring Registration Dates*:

Returning Program students: November 4, 5, and 6 (by program)

New Student Registration: starting November 11 and 12 (students will be notifed of date and time)

Pre-Core & Certificates: November 23

Youth Options: November 19

Open Registration: December 1

*Program students must register during their scheduled registration date and time or anytime thereafter. If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact 920-924-3207.

There are four options to register for courses:

Option 1. Web Registration

NOTE: You are eligible to register via the Web only if you:

Are a program student who attended MPTC from January 2007 or later (OR)
Registered for courses that began after August 24, 2008

If you meet the above requirements for web registration, do the following:

1) Go to morainepark.edu
2) Click on the Student and Staff Services link (lower left hand corner).
3) This link will provide the course schedule listing and online registration system. (You will
need to activate your student account first.)

NOTE: All students are considered a “First Time User” in the new system for courses that begin after January 1, and must activate their accounts.

Helpful Registration Hints and Things to Know:

Have all your course selections with course numbers identified in advance. The course listing is available online under the Student and Staff Services link.
Have the “CRN” for each course selection. This 5 digit number identifies a specific course’s days, time, location and etc.
If you do not have a Moraine Park student e-mail account, once registered, take the time to activate it. You will need your 9 digit alpha-numeric Student Information System (SIS) ID that begins with "N".
Web registration requires:
1. High speed Internet
2. Internet Explorer 6
3. That you turn off your pop-up blocker
