Academic Appeals Procedure

Students may appeal the decision of the Student Conduct Committee to the Vice President - Academics and Economic Development within ten calendar days of receipt of the decision. The appeal will consist of written exceptions to the findings of fact, decision or disciplinary sanction.

The Vice President - Academics and Economic Development will schedule an informal meeting with the student within fourteen calendar days. During the meeting, the student will have an opportunity to file additional documentation and present oral arguments.

Within seven calendar days of the meeting, the Vice President - Academics and Economic Development will approve, reverse or modify the decision; however, the Vice President - Academics and Economic Development shall not impose a sanction more severe than that imposed by the Student Conduct Committee. The decision of the Vice President - Academics and Economic Development is final.
