Transfer to Four-Year Colleges

Moraine Park Technical College has developed partnerships with four-year colleges and universities to provide opportunities for our students to transfer their credits to a bachelor’s degree. Some colleges accept only certain courses or a limited number of credits, while others may accept the coursework of an entire associate of applied science degree. Some four-year colleges also accept technical diploma level courses. The granting of credit is based on the policies and discretion of each prospective or “receiving” college.

Moraine Park has transfer agreements with many private and public colleges in Wisconsin as well as with colleges in other states.

The University of Wisconsin System accepts General Education coursework at each UW-campus; certain Moraine Park programs also transfer to UW colleges. Information about these transfer agreements also is available from the University of Wisconsin Transfer Information System (TIS).

Important note: If you are interested in attending a four-year college, be sure to contact a transfer representative at the campus you plan to attend to verify the most current information about their transfer agreements. New agreements are always being made to provide new opportunities to students, and existing agreements may be updated from what is posted on college websites.
